Whole Wheat Fettuccine with Alfredo Sauce, Vegetables and Chicken:
This was on a calendar and I'm glad I tried it.
1 package Lipton Sidekicks Source of Fibre Whole-Wheat Fettuccine with
1 1/4 cups (300 ml) water
1 cup (250 ml) 2% milk
1 tsp (5 ml) olive oil
1 cup (250 ml) broccoli florets
1 small red pepper, julienned
1 pound (500 g) boneless, skinless chicken breast cut into bite-size
Here's how you put it together:
1. Boil the milk & water stirring frequently and add the Lipton
Sidekicks (milk & water burn readily; watch it)
2. Put olive oil into frying pan, heat, add red pepper, broccoli and
chicken and saute for about 7 - 8 minutes.
3. Add the broccolli mixture into the Lipton mixture, serve
immediately. Should serve 3.
