These are similar to my "Rails" but are far nicer. Only a very few "Rails" make it to this grade.

Sometimes you get lucky. I've collected a LOT of beautiful Diamond Willow sticks. Many are too thick for hiking and walking sticks so they make excellent "rails" but some are so weird and wonderful that they are best for stands such as these:

These 2 stands have a piece of birch on top. Hopefully, I'll have a supply of the birch tops and pine or spruce bases, dry ready to sell but I'm still working on that. Meanwhile, there are other ways you can make bases and tops, e.g. out of plywood. The supply of the Diamond Willow sticks for these stands is as follows: (all have bark removed and are dry; there may be some soft centers and other minor flaws in these)
