generally, I reply same day the email comes; if I do not, then you may assume that I've gone to the cabin where there is NO email; power, phone, or any of such modern conveniences. Please give me up to 2 weeks to reply. If by then I *still* have not replied, something went funny and you best try again. Please.
1. The problem with buying one stick is the the "cost per stick" is high; when a person orders, say, 10, the "cost per stick" is much lower. For a typical parcel, postage was US$14; about the same as the cost of the stick alone. Then I wrapped 8 for somebody else and the postage was US$21.
2. ONE stick is more easily broken in the mail. I recently mailed 3 "down east" and the whole package, all three, were smashed.
3. Canada Post rules say that such a long parcel must be at least 15.2 cm wide; that means a parcel must have 5 or more in it.
If you really don't want to spend the $$ for 5, maybe see if I have any "el cheapo" damaged ones at C$10 each on hand to fill the order.

- you'll find pictures HERE. Pick the ones you like best.
(Pictures HERE)
- NOTE that the picture of the C$20 sticks is a SAMPLE only; there are too many to show them all. Ask for a picture of some sticks which you can choose from.
- tell me where I should mail the sticks to (complete mailing address) so I can figure out mailing cost
If there is any way that you could pick up the sticks or have someone pick them up for you, there will be zero such cost. People from the USA visiting Alaska often come through my city.
The cost of postage depends on the dimensions and weight of the parcel and where they are going.
Generally the post office promises 9-working-day delivery but that rarely happens. Frequently, postage is the same whether the parcel has 1 or 5 sticks; the length is usually the determining factor; more so than weight.
I do not charge for "handling." It is more expensive to mail a parcel to some states than to others. Each state is given (by the post office) a code; "Code 3" is the most expensive, "Code 1" is the cheapest. The only states which are "Code 1" are Oregon, Washington and Idaho.

The Post Office charges you US$3.50 for that.
I promise to send the sticks out as soon as possible after the $$ arrives.
